LEARN WITH ME
Ready to work together? I offer individual lessons for you and your horse in driving, groundwork, and liberty training. All ages, breeds, and levels are welcome; lessons are entirely customized to meet your needs and goals.
I meet you where you're at and choose exercises to build understanding, strength, and confidence of both horse and human. I guide you to understand not only what to do, but also WHY. I leave you with homework that goes a step or two beyond what we did in class, so that you can continue to move forward between lessons, and I am always accessible to answer questions.
Lessons are generally 45 minutes long and can take place in person or virtually via Zoom. Monthly packages are offered for those who would like to commit to a consistent weekly time.
IN PERSON WITH YOUR HORSE
I am based out of Big Rock Ranch, just south of Okotoks, where we have access to a large, fully fenced outdoor arena, an unfenced grass arena, and extensive pasture trails. Whether you're driving for pleasure, preparing for competition, or focusing on groundwork, liberty training, or refining your horsemanship in any way, you'll have the space and attention needed to refine your skills and strengthen your connection with your horse.
Private and semi-private lessons are available on weekday afternoons and evenings. Contact me directly to book. Monthly packages, offering a consistent weekly time, are strongly encouraged.
WITH A SCHOOL HORSE
I have a school horse available at my location near Okotoks for lessons in liberty work, groundwork, and driving. Limited availability, subject to seasonal conditions.
FROM ANYWHERE VIA ZOOM
No matter where you are in the world, we can work together virtually! All you need is an internet connection, a computer/tablet/mobile phone with a camera and the Zoom platform installed, and a wireless headset with enough range for your schooling area. Alternatively, you can video your schooling on your own time and send me up to 10 minutes' worth of video prior to the lesson. We will then meet on Zoom to watch and discuss your video together, and give you homework to practice.
LESSON RATES
My lesson rates are the same whether at your location, mine, or virtual. Travel fees and arena fees, if applicable, are additional. For those who commit to regular weekly or twice-weekly lessons, I offer a modest discount on my lesson fees when you pay for the full month up front. Please read the fine print for details. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

LESSON DAYS
If you have a group of students at one location, we can organize a half or full day of back-to-back lessons. This option allows me to come to your neck of the woods, while splitting my travel fee between students. Please contact me directly for possibilities and rates for your location.
